Your deposit is non-refundable. Make your shoot a priority and clear your schedule. If you are represented I encourage you to alert your team of your shoot date and book out if necessary. A cancellation will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
Rescheduling is permitted if the request is made at least 72 hours prior (firm) to the start of your scheduled appointment. One reschedule request is permitted.
Please be respectful of my time and the time of my clients scheduled after you. You are encouraged to map out the shoot location in advance and plan for traffic delays. A shoot can not take place if you are 30 minutes late and your deposit will be forfeited.
I shoot Monday through Friday. I’m currently scheduling about 14 days out from the current date. Please inquire for specific dates.
Yes. We will speak by phone prior to your shoot to make sure we are on the same page. I want to know exactly what you are hoping to get out of your shoot.
I will request a deposit during your phone consultation. You may inquire about available shoot dates and times but an appointment can not be confirmed until a deposit is received.
I do not offer refunds or reshoots. You will be allowed to see my work periodically during the shoot to make sure your photos fit your needs, and to be certain your hair, makeup, and wardrobe are what you envisioned. Be honest and speak your mind.
A makeup artist is highly encouraged for women. Anti-shine products are recommended for men. We will discuss this topic during your consultation.
No. Your assigned start time is when makeup application begins. If you declined to hire a makeup artist through me you should arrive to the shoot hair and makeup ready.
I shoot in Midtown Atlanta.
Each look will take about 45 minutes to complete. This does not include time for makeup application.
A look is the combination of a background change and a wardrobe change. Adding a jacket, removing a necktie, or adding glasses is not considered a new look.
You may shoot on multiple days but a session fee ($150 = session fee) is required for each shoot date. If hair styling is a concern, women are allowed ample time to change styles between looks. Men are also welcome to shave between looks.
I will shoot until we capture the perfect shot of you. This ranges between 50-75 photos per look.
You will receive a link to an online gallery of your photos within three business days of your shoot. Your online gallery will be available for up to 90 days.
Turnaround time for your retouched photos is currently ten days. Your final photos will be sent to you electronically through a file transfer email service. I will include print size and web size files in your transfer. Print size files are too large to send through standard email. I will also include a print release document in your transfer. This document is required by a select few printing companies if you’re having prints made.
Retouching is a careful edit of your photo. My goal is to keep all edits subtle, making sure that you look like your photo once my work is complete. This could include adjustments such as removal of skin blemishes, removal of flyaway hairs, slight teeth whitening, eye enhancement, and image color adjustments. A retouching preview will be sent to you for approval once my work is complete.
Yes, I can professionally retouch one photo for each look that you have purchased. Additional photos can be retouched for $45 each.
Retouching is optional but highly recommended for a photo that you intend to use on professional platforms or social media.
Yes. Tattoo removal is quoted on a case-by-case basis starting at $10/photo.
I shoot in digital which allows you to see your photos periodically as we shoot and make any necessary adjustments.
Both. I am able to shoot with studio light or natural light when weather conditions are optimal.
Actors should bring items along the lines of the characters they portray. Business professionals should bring work attire. An item that you love might not photograph well, so make sure you have lots of options. I recommend that you bring two to three wardrobe options for each look that you have purchased. You want to avoid tops with logos, slogans, or writing that could pull attention away from your eyes in the image.
I am the owner of the photos. I retain ownership simply to protect both of us from commercial misuse of the image. For example, a company or individual can not take any photo that I have captured and place that photo on a product that is for sale, or on any other form of advertisement. The photographer and the subject must give consent and be compensated for this type of use of the image.
I can refer you to reputable printing companies in Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles that specialize in 8×10 headshot layout and printing. I discourage you from investing in high resolution photos and then printing them at a pharmacy or a company that specializes in document printing.
I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. All balances are due on your shoot date.
After several years in film and television production at the highest level in Los Angeles and Atlanta, I transitioned into still photography and never looked back. My success as a headshot photographer can also be attributed to my years as a working actor in Los Angeles. During my time as an actor I had headshots taken more times than I can count. Not surprisingly, the best images came from photographers who were collaborative and put me at ease. I now take great pride in offering that same collaborative and fun experience to my clients.
